There is an ever perplexing question that ponders in the mind of every consumer/patient for Medical House Calls and that is are Medical House Calls covered by health insurance?  The answer is yes!! after 8 years of managing a medical house call practice there have been rumors flying around that doctors who conduct medical house calls are "fly-by-night" physicians who cannot operate out of an office or they do not have their license and this is false and misleading information.  In 1998 Medicare allowed and reimbursed physicians who were interested in conducting medical house calls.  It is becoming more and more popular everyday and by 2007 the AMA expects that the concept will "explode" by becoming publicized in the press.  Keep your eyes and ears open as things progress.
